Phillip Goldfeder is currently a Democratic New York State Assembly member from the borough of Queens. Goldfeder is a resident of the Far Rockaway neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. On September 13, 2011 Goldfeder, a former aide to Michael Bloomberg and Charles Schumer[1], was elected during a special election to the New York State Assembly, succeeding long time assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer.[2]
